I practice marriage and family therapy because I believe transformation, growth, and healing are possible for all people and relationships.

Therapy can make profound differences for people struggling in their relationships to themselves, their partner, or their family.

People find therapy helpful in a variety of circumstances. Some people come to me seeking to improve communication skills with their partner or family. Others are looking for renewed energy or a fresh perspective on life. Some have been hurt by the people they love and are frustrated because their attempts to make things better have not appeared to work. Parents sometimes come when they are concerned about their child’s emotions or behaviors. Some people are seeking to heal from the wounds of trauma and loss. Some feel out of balance, depressed, frustrated, or anxious. Some are having difficulty transitioning to a new stage of life, while others are tired of catching themselves repeating self-destructive cycles and want change. Some are having difficulty understanding themselves, while others are having difficulty being understood and accepted by friends and family.

I strive to form trustworthy collaborative relationships with my clients so that, together, we can find ways to heal from pain, transform destructive cycles, and grow towards richer, more satisfying lives and relationships.
